An accessory for your Galaxy Note

I love touch screen but when it comes to the speed of typing, I rather use the conventional keyboard. That’s exactly what I got for my Galaxy Note as its companion.

Nature of my work requires me to compose and reply e-mails on the go. I have lots of meetings and I spend very less time at my office desk. I bought the Note to make my life easier as the screen is bigger and the cut and paste technology introduced in the Note helped me a lot to correspond to my vendors. My Note is awesome and it often made lots of people envy me for having such cool gadget. The only difficulty I encountered was when I reply to emails. My emails are often long and I need to ammend some reports or response to minute meetings. Touch screen made me to make lots of errors when I type. So, I looked for a portable keyboard, small enough to carry around and big enough to type easily. Hence, I found this…

I bought this at Chinavasion for RM115 (including shipping). The delivery time was about 12 days. I was skeptical of this store at first but I decided to take the chance. I am glad that I took the risk. The keyboard has its own case, so it really looks elegant when I bring it around. It is also slim and I can fit it nicely into my handbag. I don’t have to lug around a laptop to do an instant update of blogging. All I needed is my Note and this slim beauty to blog.

What do you think?? Do you like it?? Would you like to get this for your Note or rather use the Note’s touch screen??

Price : RM115 (including shipping)

Pros : Lightweight and the key responds well similar to the conventional keyboard

Cons : Some may find it difficult to carry this because you may need a bigger handbag. I always carry big handbags, so I don’t see this as a problem.

Ipad Bluetooth Keyboard

I have mentioned in my previous post that I went to Beijing, China to attend a forum. China is indeed a shopping haven and you can practically get anything at suoer cheap price.

Of course, being a shopaholic and a gadget geek, I would not miss shopping there. So, what did i buy??

I bought an iPad Bluetooth Keyboard at Silk Market. Price was RNB200 only which is about RM100. I have checked out the price here, it was about RM180. I saved 80 ringgit but I think I could have gotten it cheaper. I am not that good in bargaining, I bet if you got that skill, you might even got it at RM50 :)

The keyboard can last you up to 40 hours and if you want to recharge it, all you need is plug in the usb cable to a computer. I don’t know how long will it take to charge because ever since I bought it, I haven’t charge it at all. Yup, I am not kidding, it’s true. I think I have actually charged my ipad 10 times but the keyboard has not been recharge yet. I assume it can last this long because when you are not using the keyboard, it will shut off by itself. When you activate your ipad, it will switch on automatically for your to type. Cool huh…

If you are interested to get it, you can check out at Lelong website coz I saw the same model sold at RM180.
