New Year Celebration with Cup Cake, baked with Milux Oven

I have mentioned earlier that I was looking for oven right… I have found Milux, 55litre oven at only RM399. It was the greatest deal because I was looking at other brands and all of them are really expensive, above RM450… so, I didn’t hesitate when I saw the price for Milux and instantly bought it.

Milux is a good brand and I think it is way better than Elba or Faber… On eve of New Year I have officiated the oven by baking cup cakes. That was the first time, I was baking cup cake alone with no supervision… hehehe… The cup cake turned out really good and tasty and my husband loved it so much that he got annoyed when he saw there were only 2 cup cakes left for him today… hahaha… I got the recipe from the foodnetworkasia.com . The site has loads of recipes for any type of food that you want to cook. I always watch the food channel on astro and most of my cooking ventures were inspired by watching the channel… If you are looking to impress your husband or children, I suggest you to check out the channel. Have great cooking day ahead…

  1. I was looking for oven and contemplating to buy an ELBA. Didn’t think of Milux as an option (it’s not displayed at SenQ). 55 litres @ RM399 is certainly a good buy. You really think it’s worthy eh?

    • Yup, I think it is worthy. Milux is famous American brand. You can only find these at stores where they sell baking ingredients.I bought mine at Kepong Industrial Park. I did look at Elba but for the size and the price, I think Milux is the best buy…

  2. hi, can i check is the inner body if the oven is good? i mean i heard this is made of stainless steel. any possible to get rusty at inner part? i had a cornell brand oven, but the inner body get rusty and it is spread very fast.. i saw this milux oven as well in 1 of the electrical store, and the uncle told me is stainless steel and definite will not get rusty!

    • well, i have been using it for almost a year now and it didn’t rust at all. Of course, when you wipe it clean each time after u finish using the oven plays an important role to prevent rusting. For the price I bought the oven, it is definitely worth it. I would suggest you to go and check out at shops that sell bakery stuff. I think ovens are a lot cheaper there.
