My 31st Birthday

I officially turned 31, 3 days ago. As soon as the clock struck 12 midnight, my hubby gave me a birthday card. Earlier he told me that he didn’t buy me any gift and I told him it’s okay because as long he spend time with me, is more than enough and that ‘s the greatest gift he can give me…  J

 

Anyway, back to my story, when I opened the card, there was another small card in it, which he wrote the first riddle to find my gift. He did a mini treasure hunt in the house!! Hehehe… He thought I would find my birthday present in just a few minutes. What he doesn’t know is, I’m bad at solving riddles… :P So, it took me almost an hour to solve it and that also because my hubby helped me out.

Finally, solving the riddles was worth it coz my birthday gift was Canon EOS 600D. Wooohooo…. I was so excited when I found the gift hidden under the bed. At first, I thought it was a camcorder coz my hubby knows that I love to do make-up tutorial… but I didn’t expect it to be DSLR camera…

So, now, I have a new toy to play with… :)

Alza my newfound love…

The title said it all…. Alza is my newfound love. You might be asking me, Alza? Seriously? Hahaha… I know, i know… You might be saying, People are buying imported cars like Honda and Toyota but i bought Alza, the local Perodua car…

Dear malaysians, shame on you for saying such thing

You may argue with me saying that imported cars are better in quality. Trust me, Before I actually made my decision, i went out there and checked out all my available options.

Toyota Vios: no accessory… Interior sucks!!!! just for a plain car, you expect me to pay almost 80K????

Honda City: well, can be considered but then again, too many cases about their gear box, plus they called back some of their production due to some errors last year. I’m not willing to stake my hard earned money for this.

Nissan grand livina/latio sports: this model was the one i was considering seriously. Unfortunately, their car is too heavy and often lags when you climb hills. My mother in laws nissan sentra 1.6 was choking badly when we were climbing the genting highlands hills. A kancil was overtaking us and even honked at us. Hahaha… Latio sports was way too expensive for me. I was thinking for 100k, i could invest on a house.

So, after all this considerations, i finally came to my basic needs. I need a bigger car to transport my children and perhaps transport big things which i always do(yup, i have too many things to carry around, hehehe). So, I checked on exora and alza… Alza is more stylish and looked perfect to me. Exora was way too big and a friend of mine who test drive it said tht exora’s body was heavy too (no offense to the owners of exora). It needs more cc to climb hills.

That’s how I ended with Alza. Perfect price and the car is awesome!!!! I love the car so much. I’m checking on the petrol consumption. I’ll definitely post about it later.
