Yup, Say No to Chap Lips… I hate chap lips… i wear lip balm everyday because the weather nowadays is causing my lips to be dry… Hence I had to wear lip balm thrice in a day. At home, I use Vaseline but because Vaseline is only available in cute little box bottle, I can’t bring them to office (cumbersome)…
Anyhoooooooooo… thanks to Maybelline Baby Lips, I’m able to bring the lip balm whenever and where ever I want… It is available in colours too…

A few days ago, I attended Maybelline New York Fashion Week Workshop at the Loreal Academy. I enjoyed every moment of it because I get to use all their products during the workshop… hehehe…
It has been quite some time since I’ve lost touch with Maybelline… My first make up product was Maybelline, but back then, Maybelline didn’t have much range in its collection. I was amazed when I saw their products collection now. I especially loved their Hyper Sharp Liner. It makes such thin line that no one knows that you’ve applied an eyeliner… 
The makeup artist did all 4 looks to 2 different models… the tips were really helpful… I met other beauty bloggers too… ceeramoon, kakinakl, ciklilyputih, jessying and farra-eng.
Anyway, at the end of the workshop, they let us to grab whatever makeup that we used during the workshop …. awesome right??? i got a whole bunch of them… hehehe… maybe I’ll do a giveaway soon…
We were told that there is a contest and awesome prize awaits us… Well, being a contest or competition freak myself, I want to so badly enter this one too… I managed to finish the video although I was so busy at work and handling my new house… talk about multitasking… hehehe…
Famous model, Amber Chia was also there… she is a really friendly person.. and I loved her ‘Chihuaha’ smile… hahaa… those who went there know what chihuaha means…

I love the smell of the product but for some it may be overwhelming coz it is quite strong… but I loved it. I bet my hubby will love it too… hehehe… Anyway, during the launch, the organiser was kind enough to give us a full size of Neutrogena Ageless Anti-Winkle & Firming Cream. I went to Sephora recently to get the Bare Minerals Set. I’ve been wanting to get if for such a long time but I couldn’t buy it from any website because they don’t ship to Malaysia. Anyway, I was glad that Sephora has them, so I just went there and got one for myself.
The cost was RM239. It is quite expensive than what was offered in US. But I wanted to try it so badly that I bought it without hesitant. I tried it immediately, of course.
Verdict:
It didn’t deliver the results that I expected. I think i bought the wrong shade. my friends told me that i looked slightly darker. But I bought the Medium to medium beige set. So, does that mean i have to buy the lightest set… I don’t know…
But, to be fair, the difference was not that obvious actually… It could be that I didn’t give proper coverage. The package consist of concealer (free), brushes, 2 set of base (medium, medium beige), mineral veil and a bronzer.
And I bought Benefit brightening face primer as well… I haven’t tried the face primer yet… so, i’ll post the review once i tested it…
In my previous post, I have complained about Astro’s inattentive to our problem, right?? Well, the problem has been fixed. They even sent an Astro’s representative (3 days after the actual incident) to look at the problem. The guy took a photo of our broken tile and even offered compensation for the broken tile. All this happened after my husband shouted and scolded over the phone to their customer service officers, of course. I pitied them for getting some bombards from my husband but I think Astro need some wake up call that they’d better take care of their customers properly.
Anyway, the problem is solved and I just wished that the problem was settled earlier. As for the installer who was rude… he needs to learn some manners… and I think that’s just the way the guy talks… if he keeps on talking like that … i’m having huge hunch that the fellow is either going to lose his job or going to get beaten up by someone who doesn’t like the way he talks… But seriously, Astro needs to think about the people they hire to install… Don’t just simply give the task to someone….
As a conclusion, if you want thinks to get done properly by Astro, be precise at your request… if they can’t get it right at the first time… you need to put your foot down and demand a good service… Astro ain’t cheap mate!!!! You are paying for every god damn thing…
