My new iMac
One of my goal has just been deleted from my goal book. Hahaha… I’ve been wanting to buy a Macbook Pro since last year (ever since I started my blog). The reason why I wanted it, is for photo editing and to edit my youtube video as well. My Lenovo s10 was not helpful as it is only running on intel atom. It takes me almost 3 hours just to do one posting with photos on lenovo s10.
After the release of the new Macbook Pro, I wanted to get it but when I checked online, there were quite a number of complaints that the product heats up very fast and makes loud sound like a vacuum cleaner. So, I decided not to get it as I don’t want to get a faulty product. I know, you can always return it but why the hassle… I’m intending to use the Mac Products for a very very long time (at least 10 years hahaha… too much u say??).
Anyway, after giving a good thought, I decided to get the iMac instead coz it has bigger screen and faster than the Macbook Pro. I have my Lenovo S10 to bring around, so I don’t really need a Laptop. Hence, the reason I bought iMac.
Actually, I wanted to wait for the new iMac 2011 but this old model (2010) is good enough for my usage and it is way cheaper than the original price (RM900 cheaper, Check out my previous post to find out the promotion at Machines and Mac City). So, that’s why I didn’t buy the new iMac 2011. I had to call up several stores to find this model because one U, Mid Valley and GArdens Outlet had sold out. Luckily, Machines Outlet in Sunway Pyramid had it when I call, I booked it via phone and I told her I’ll come and take it right away 
Following are the specs of the model I bought:
- 3.2GHz Intel Core i3
- 1920-by-1080 resolution
- 4GB (two 2GB) memory
- 1TB hard drive
- 8x double-layer SuperDrive
- ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB
This post is written using my new iMac and I’m enjoying every moment of it. It’s bigger screen, brighter and clearer image, faster photo editing and etc… i love my new iMac.

hehehe… everybody at home are so impressed by the size of the screen and how sleek it looked… my mother in law was also asking how come there were no wires at all… hehehe…

I got it cheaper coz usually mac centre will cut down their price on the older models when the new one is released. Hence, I got my 2010 model cheaper when the 2011 imac models were released. For me the older model is good enough.. so I didn’t hesitate to get it. If you are interested, just watch out for the discounted price at Mac City Facebook when the new model is released.
