I got my first Buffered Earning!!!

Yay, I got my first buffered earning. This is my best birthday ever. I didn’t expect my 30th birthday to turn out so great. I spent the whole day with my hubby. We went for shopping, watch movie (The Other Guys),had lunch and dinner together… and when I checked my email, I was so happy to find out that I am invited to the Digi Internet Gathering tomorrow at the Grand Modesto’s… hooray!!! I can’t believe it.. to top it of, I got my first BE…

But yesterday, I came back home at 12.30am coz my car tyre was punctured and had to wait for the mechanic to fix it for me. I waited from 10.30 till 11.30pm, but he kept on telling me 20 minutes he’ll reach there… i finally got fed up and called my hubby to come and fix it for me… so, although the day of my birthday started not as I expected… but it turned to be the best and unforgettable one…

BTW, Thank you so much, Nuffnang for the wonderful BE as my gift on my birthday…

My official post using my own domain in WordPress

This is my official post after having my own domain. I have downloaded WordPress in my host. I have been contemplating to have my own domain and host for quite some time. I entered a couple of contest to win a domain but I wasn’t lucky enough. Anyway, that didn’t deter me to get it on my own.

I got my own domain and host from ihosterz.com. I did some research online to look for Malaysian host and found that ihosterz.com offered the cheapest rate. I did find another host which offers RM50 annually for the same bandwith and size, but it didn’t include the free domain, you need to pay RM35 seperately which will come to RM85. ihosterz was offering the same package plus free domain for RM68 only. My host and domain was setup within an hour after payment. Talk about fast service!!!

As I have mentioned in my earlier post, I won 2 tickets to watch ‘You again’ at eCurve. I asked my hubby to come home early on Friday. We have not gone for a movie for a very long time. Anyway, I reached there at 8.30pm and I saw Ms. Lily and Ruby were already there taking photos with Nuffnang Management who were distributing the tickets. After collecting my tickets, my hubby and I went to buy some food, coz we were starving like hell.
After that, I was taking some pictures with my new gadget (Nikon S3000) and my hubby was quite impressed with it.  

Now, my hubby is calling me by a new nickname which is ‘Nuffnang’… hahaha… Reason?? I am taking photos of everything and I am making sure that I am updating my blog everyday, of course I am actively participating all Nuffnang contests… these are the reasons why he is calling me Nuffnang.. kahkahkah…

I loved the movie a lot. It is an outrageous comedy starrring Kristen Bell, Odette Yustman Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver and not to forget James Wolk who resembles Kyle Chandler. Kristen Bell is the nerd younger sister of James (in real life James is 5 years younger than Kristen) and she was always bullied by the famous group in her school. It is because of the Brother’s encouragement that she’ll finally hatch out of her coccoon and become a beautiful girl a few years later  and eventually be promoted to VP in PR.

Unfortunately, her happiness did not last long as the girl she hated in high school is about to become her future sister in law. She became infuriated when Odette pretended not to know her… I would spoil it if I tell you the entire story. So, get to the nearest theatre to watch this movie.

I love Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis in this movie. They look beautiful despite their age. I bet girls would be drooling watching James Wolk and guys, you’d love to see Odette… Overall, I would rate this movie 8 out of 10, less 2 marks because I think they could have added some other mean stuff that always happen in high school.

Yay, I got my first invitation from Nuffnang to You Again Premiere Screening

I was ecstatic when I saw that I am invited to the You Again Premiere Screening by Nuffnang…. Thank you, Nuffnang for being so generious… I received the invitation on 18th Oct (Monday) at about 6.30pm… but I only saw it today in my spam folder… Lucky, I saw it if not, I would have missed my first Premiere Screening… So, who else is going???

Liverpool vs Everton

Liverpool lost by 2 goals with Everton… Seriously, I don’t know why Liverpool are not performing well these days… Today was the first game with their new owners, yet I saw them performing badly… I wonder whether their mood of playing was affected because their owner had changed.

Judging by the game that they played today, I have a few comments or shoud I say it is my hubby who’s been complaining about their game.

  1. They need more attacking formation
  2. They need to get rid of Lucas
  3. They need to play Babel and Jovanovic more often
  4. They need another striker
  5. They need a new manager

I think Roy Hodgson needs to view the game on the TV coz obviously he can’t see the formation that he has planned. Watching from the screen, makes everything obvious but don’t know why and I don’t know what was Roy’s plan, the game ended with such a bad results. Why does every new manager at the Kop always plays safe football???? Doesn’t anyone see that the true Liverpool game play is and has always been attacking. Didn’t Roy learn anything from Rafa’s blunders?? Wonder what is on John W. Henry’s mind… Can he bring the glory days back to the Kop like he has done with the Red Sox…. I sure hope he isn’t just planning on making a quick buck and instead is truly interested in the LFC spirit… I say give Roy till the end of November and if things don’t turn around for LFC, bring King Kenny back to the helm of the Kop…

God…I hope that things get better…

Alicia Keys welcomes baby boy…

Yup, Alicia Keys welcomed baby boy on Oct 15. She had a smooth delivery and she is a happy mother now.. Alicia Keys married Beatz this year July 31 on the French Island of Corsica. Beatz has 3 other children from previous relationships. I wonder when they are going to publish her baby’s pictures…

I am not sure whether she is going to take some time off to take care of her newborn. Anyway, I am really happy for her. A child in a family is a real blessing.

For those who would like to have your design header on your blog but don’t have the expertise to do one by yourself… I highly recommend you to visit mohamadfaiz.com. He provides design header service. All you got to do is give him a design that you personally created using paint software or you draw it in paper, scan it and send it to him by email. Later, he can design it the way you wanted… As for the fee for his service, he has to look at the design first before quoting the price. Here is an example of his work:

Open Glitterati Plus Meeting @ Taylor’s University

Today I work up early to attend the Open Glitterati Plus Meeting @ Taylor’s University. First of all, I didn’t know that there was a University there coz I’ve been to that place on the year 2005 but nothing was there… so, I guess it’s a new place… anyway, the university is really beautiful and I really like the architecture of the building too…


Back to the topic, the meeting was scheduled from 10am to 2pm. But I reached there at about 10.20am coz had to drop my hubby off to the mechanic shop. I thought I was late, hehehe… thank god they haven’t started yet… at 10.30am, Mr. Timothy Tiah, co-founder of Nuffnang made an opening speech, followed by Mr. Shah author of Memoirs of a Teh Tarik Drinker who made the presentation of the Glitteratti Plus Club… the presentation ended with some Q & A session… which ‘moi’ asked loads of questions… I love asking… hahaha… school time never ask but now kaki sibuk already… kahkahkah…

Nikon S3000 Coolpix, My new Gadget!!!

whoohooo… I’m elated now… I got a new camera… It is none other than Nikon S3000… I know… I know.. my wishlist was Nikon D5000 but it is over my budget… after all it is more than Rm2K. So, I’m not going to buy that… need to enhance my skills on photography first before laying my hands on them…

Anyhooooo, I like this camera a lot after doing some survey on it… so, my mother in law got me this for my birthday… hehehe… so lucky me to get such a wonderful mother in law… and of course I’m a good daughter in law… hahaha… so, tomorrow I get to use my new camera for the open glitteratti meeting… can’t wait… review and some pictures of it will come soon…
